A Global Conversation

For the first time ever, all 29 CreativeMornings chapters will be hosting their events under one common, unified theme: The Intersection of Arts + Technology, presented in partnership with the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). We’re quite excited about it, and hope you are, too.

Speaker

Rick Valicenti is a mentor and a practicing designer dedicated to sharing experiences, knowledge, and occasional wisdom, with other designers all over the world. Since 1989, he's been running his highly lauded design studio, 3st, creating great work and lasting relationships through the power of beauty and emotion. As an AIGA Medalist and AIGA Fellow, he's traveled around the world to lecture, exhibit and share his experiences, most notably at The Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, Graphis, CA, Print, Art Directors Club, ACD100, Tokyo Art Directors and ID Magazine, among many, many others.

Chicago Design Week

We’re honored to have this CreativeMornings take place in part with Chicago Design Week, co-sponsored by AIGA Chicago. It’s a packed week of design events, celebrating the excellence that the city of Chicago has to offer to the community of design at large.

Host

CreativeMornings Chicago was started exactly one year ago. To help us commemorate our first full year of coffee, treats, inspiration, and fun, none other than gravitytank will graciously host us in their beautiful space. They were our very first host, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be back at one of Chicago’s brightest innovation firms.

About CreativeMornings

CreativeMornings is a monthly morning gathering for creative types. Each event includes a 20 minute lecture, followed by a 20 minute group discussion. The gathering begins at 8:30am with the topic presentation starting at 9:00am and everyone taking off for work at 10am. CreativeMornings are free of charge!
